FINE ANTIQUE FURNITURE RESTORATION AND CONSERVATION

SERVICES

FURNITURE

At The Coach House Workshops we undertake all aspects of furniture conservation and restoration where traditional skills and methods are used. Whether an antique of historic importance or an item which is purely sentimental, all pieces are treated with the same skill and attention to detail.

INSURANCE

Unfortunately, nothing in life is predictable and the unforeseen can happen. We offer a comprehensive service in dealing with fire, smoke,

flood and impact damage. We have many years experience in sympathetically handling insurance claims in conjunction with the client and loss adjustor.

ARCHITECTURAL

Most of the architectural conservation and restoration work we carry out on site. This encompasses a wide range of skills and processes to achieve the high standards that our clients, architects and main contractors expect.

LIGHTING & CHANDELIERS

Our skilled team regularly carry out restoration work on a variety of antique lamps, lighting units and chandeliers. We can offer rewiring, replacement parts and repairs using sympathetic new fittings and a comprehensive cleaning service.

BESPOKE

We manufacture a variety of items according to our clients needs or requirements and this varies from a simple door, additional table leaf or display case to kitchens and harp stands!

EDUCATIONAL COURSES

Mark has been running a variety of short courses in furniture restoration for many years. The fully equipped workshop offers a relaxed and enjoyable environment for a limited number of students to work and develop their restoration skills.
